STRONGEST LEADERSHIP QUALITIES
OF
PRESIDENT PAUL BIYA OF CAMEROON

  1. His politics of exalting people, exhausting them and exalting them again...

On daily bases circumstance make some Cameroonians leaders and the same circumstance still on daily bases make them slaves...

    This is magical

  2. President Paul Biya's prudent and moderate qualities are wonderful. As a leader of Cameroon, Paul Biya is never too anxious to do anything neither does Biya descends pressure from outside before taking action nor feels challenged

SOME WEAKNESSES OF
PRESIDENT PAUL BIYA OF CAMEROON

  1. Paul Biya's over tactfulness in speeches and policies...

Tactfulness is not lying but over tactfulness could lead to lying...

My president, Paul Biya, has lied so much according to most of his speeches and policies.

Seeming at times and proving to Cameroonians that he can answer about them exactly the same way Peter did about Jesus.

"You were with Jesus, that man from Galilee."

But Peter said... "I don't know what you are talking about."

The president, like peter, make speeches and promises but soon forgets them.

ADVICES TO PRESIDENT PAUL BIYA OF CAMEROON

  1. On tactfulness:

  2. It is better to be hated for what you are than admired for what you are not...

truth should not be withheld no matter the implications...

My president, Mr. Paul Biya, is a christian an i know he knows as i do that that when you know the truth you are set free.
John 8:32: "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

Cameroonians are quickly becoming educated and this is not just the classroom education of taking down numbers, letters and reciting poems but the education of becoming fully human and independent and making good and proper use of their God given potentials and facing their challenges...

Being tactful with men of independent means can be dangerous at times.

  3. secondly as a leader the first effort should be human development.

  4. This means letting people think, talk and act.

Giving them the chance to participate in decisions that concerns and involves them.

Giving room for open debates and challenges so that you win all the talents, wisdom and requirements you need to carry other developments with.

You may think development should start by roads and railways...

you can construct as many railways and roads as fast as possible but the people not developed could destroy them as soon as possible.

The west and our governments have instilled in us that idea that development in road and railways, yes...

but this kind of development benefits just them.

They don't want us to think, talk and act following their exploitation of our natural resources.

  5. another advice will be to suspend the decentralization policy.

  6. If this policy has to be pursued in the face of corruption it will appear to be the worst strategy a government can put to enhance development.

Decentralization in the face of corruption is just like a monster tree growing on the mountain top and due to wind effect(development) and runoffs(progress) the seed are carried down valleys where with the manure(illiteracy) they grow and develop better species of monsters.

If corruption cannot be dealt with lets not decentralize our corrupt institutions and people to spoil our districts and villages and natives.
