I am now in the same situation with you. I got inquiry and all responses quickly from this person:

She also asked for samples, and gave payment terms herself as well as easy to accept 100% payment in advance although I suggested L/C paym ent to be fair for both.

I have not sent their the samples, because really thought there is something unusual here.
Could you please continue to share the last story with those company ?

Dear Mr. Paul,

We thank you from the bottom of our heart for this information as we they had confirmed an order to us for Rice with 100 % Advance Payment terms. We already sent the samples to them and they accpeted the sample immediately. We had genuine doubts about them, howerever, we were about to finalise the order with them based on their payment terms.

But we had never thought of such a trap and had we proceeded we would have definitely fallen into that.... We were actually preparing Proforma Invoice for them, but still due to my on intuition and doubt I felt like checking their genuinity once again before proceeding....
